Musicals | OU Pi Kappa Alpha

Every year at OU, fraternities and sororities have the option to pair up and participate in Broadway-style shows called University Sing and Scandals. These 10 minute shows are unlike any other, for every show not only acts, but competes in hopes of taking home first place and making life-long friends.

PIKE is a show house - simply put. At Beta Omicron, we pride ourselves on our performance and winning history in the storied traditions of University Sing and Scandals. Every year, we take the opportunity to pair with a sorority so that we can win that year's show, expand our sorority relations, and have a great time.

University Sing is a freshman-only show in which 15-20 our newest freshman will sing and dance along with the freshman of the sorority that we are paired with. Usually, casts practice 6 hours a week for about 3 months - with the performance usually in the middle of November.

With Scandals however, anyone can participate. It features the same format of singing and dancing; however, the practice is about 8 hours a week from January to April. It's generally considered to be more competitive given that everyone can participate.

For Fall 2021, we will be paired with the Chi Omega sorority!
